ok lemme try to explain the theory of "THESIS-ANTITHESIS-SYNTHESIS"...
ok this THESIS-ANTITHESIS-SYNTHESIS thingy came from this guy call Plato and this thinking is also known as Plato Dialectic ^^
"Plato felt that proper thinking was reflected in the dialogue (ie. the conversation) which was polemical in nature -- proceeding as a series of questions and responses in which, in alteration, one person took the role of the interrogator and the other, the responder. Theses were considered and confronted with antitheses. The resulting debate revealed the truth which often, because of the extreme forms in which the theses and antitheses were originally presented, lay somewhere between the two. Reality was the progressive movement frm thesis to antithesis to synthesis. Each synthesis served as the thesis for a new dialectical opposition and another, higher, synthesis."

basically they are sayin that our society juz wants to achieve and progress towards stability and thus they tried to compromise thesis and antithesis to achieve a balance... aka synthesis
the meaning behind DBSK's 정.반.합.(正.反.合.) i think is a little different frm this theory... but its highly similar... tts y this name was chosen for their album...
Thesis is lyk something that u state... that u feel is correct... lyk white... and antithesis is lyk something tt opposes ur thesis... lyk black... thus synthesis is lyk a compromise... lyk grey...
den in our society... there are many thesis and antithesis being raised... each time sumthin lyk dat is raised... there will bound to b a compromise... forming a synthesis... den from each synthesis another antithesis will be raised... thus this synthesis 'becomes' a thesis... *refer to chart below*
i think wad 정.반.합.(正.反.合.) album is tryin to say is... the society is always faced with thesis and antithesis... n theres no such thing as absolute thesis as well as antithesis... we can never satisfy both sides...
all we can do is to live together in synthesis... lyk wad my lecturer said... to achieve a win-win situation for everyone... however is such a synthesis really that possible??
as reflected in the 'O' mv... theres so much suffering and all going on in so many parts of the world... if only we can all try to think for others... try to put ourselves in other pp's shoes... try to see the world frm their point of view... den perhaps we can achieve that state of Synthesis... n maybe we can really reduce all these unnecessary suffering and all...
